AVP Controllership - Regulatory Reporting

Position : AVP Controllership (Regulatory Reporting)

About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated AVP Controllership (Regulatory Reporting) to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely regulatory reporting for a global financial institution. What You'll Do :

Prepare and review daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting schedules (FR2900, FRY-9C, FFIEC031, FRY-9LP, FRY-11, FFIEC009, FRY-14Q, FRY-15).

Lead and track progress on key regulatory reporting projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time.

Maintain and continuously improve documentation, job aids, and policies for accuracy and compliance.

Act as a key point of contact for internal audit, quality assurance reviews, and regulator inquiries.

Support system implementation and automation initiatives to streamline reporting processes.

Participate in process improvement projects and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Take ownership of special projects and drive them to successful completion.

What You Bring :

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with at least 3 years of accounting experience in Banking or Financial Services (or 7+ years of relevant industry experience without a degree).

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting principles.

Experience working with financial systems (HFM, Hyperion, Oracle Financials Data Warehouse) and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

Hands-on regulatory reporting experience.

Familiarity with Axiom Controller View.

Proficiency with data and reporting tools (Oracle Discoverer, Business Objects).
