Job descriptionEvaluate and select construction materials based on cost, performance, availability, and sustainability. Develop material testing plans and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project standards. Inspect, test, and monitor materials on-site during construction to detect defects or non-conformances. Advise engineers and contractors on proper material selection, usage, and handling practices. Ensure accurate documentation of material testing, inspections, and final compliance checks. Support sustainable building practices by sourcing eco-friendly materials and promoting resource efficiency. Stay updated on emerging materials and technologies to improve future project outcomes. Foster strong supplier relationships and uphold company safety and regulatory standards.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Licensed Civil Engineer
- Accredited DPWH Materials Engineer
- At least 3-5 of relevant experience in construction materials testing, quality control and materials research.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications
