QA Engineering Lead

Role / Responsibilities

• Manage functional QA engineers in ensuring quality of every product that we release to production.
• Monitor quality metrics and conduct bug analysis sessions to improve product quality.
• Drive all QA effort throughout and until end of each release.
• Maintain an updated regression suite both for manual and automated tests.
• Continuously review, calibrate, develop, and implement new innovative QA practices.
• Participate in kick-offs and grooming session and raise all quality concerns.
• Identify and analyse issues, bugs, defects, and other problems particularly when problem is recurring; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
• Communicate with various stakeholders for any QA related items.
• Address QA Engineers impediments by collaborating with the squads.
• Coach and mentor QA engineers.
• Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
• Negotiate with all stakeholders to agree how best to move forward and deliver value.

Requirements

• At-least 5 years experience in managing a team of QA Engineers.
• Knowledgeable in testing practices and methodologies across international based Mobile / Web applications and APIs.
• Familiarity in performance and automation testing (java, postman, appium, selenium, jmeter, etc.).
• Comfortable writing SQL and using RDBMS.
• Nice to have experience with Cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud), Linux.
• Participate in projects than span multiple teams from requirements to production in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent communication in English, both verbally and written to all levels within the organization including non-technical audience.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
