Schedule : M-F, 8am to 5pm, 40 hours a week

Reports To : Managing Director

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator / Procurement Officer to support our project and service divisions. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and supplier management expertise to deliver accurate cost estimates and efficient procurement processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring projects are both competitive and profitable, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Tendering

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical or construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Conduct full material and labor take-offs and prepare professional tender submissions.
• Collaborate with project and management teams to ensure pricing is competitive and aligned with profitability targets.
• Maintain an updated database of historical project costs, supplier rates, and market trends.

Requirements

Requirements : Key Attributes & Qualifications Proven experience in estimating or procurement within the electrical or construction industry. Strong commercial acumen and analytical thinking. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency in Excel, estimating software, and ERP or procurement systems is preferred. Self-motivated and proactive, with a team-oriented mindset.
