Vishay Taguig is currently seeking applicants for a Production Supervisor position, that will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling activities of assembly lines in accordance with delivery plans and quality standard maintaining the delivery of supplies and services for continuous operation in the production, repairing of equipment and facilities, trouble shooting of electrical systems, plumbing, and ensuring the smooth operation of a company’s facilitiy. This position provides strong presence in the whole Operations with the opportunity to create real impact within the organization and build a promising career.

Vishay Philippines, Inc. is located in FTI, Taguig Philippines. There are around 811 employees currently working in Vishay OptoelectronicsTaguig. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans. The plant manufactures Optoelectronics. The Vishay Philippines‘ Optoelectronic product line includes a diverse range of advanced technologies in more than 22 package types, from the water sawing up to testing, package development, and product reliability testing and failure analyses.

What you will be doing:

• Conducts daily monitoring of facilities and equipment
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance activities for the following: Air-conditioning systems, Ovens, Exhaust system, U.P.S, Water pumps, DI and Waste Water Treatment Plant.
• Operates and maintains facility’s emergency equipment such as: Chiller, AHU, Genset, U.P.S, Fire extinguishers and Fire pumps.
• Trouble shooting and repair of electrical system such as: Power panel, Breaker, Oven controls, Convenience outlet and other major facilities equipment.
• Monitoring of resources consumptions such as: Gas, Energry, Water and Chemicals.
• Monitoring and inspection of all fire fighting equipment such as: Fire alarm system, fire extinguisher, fire pump and fire hydrant system.
• Act as company’s fire brigade.
• Understand SOX requirements and compliance.
• Perform other tasks as required.
• Supports the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct.
• Assists and supports the Company’s health and safety programs.

What you will bring along:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Experience in trouble shooting and facility & equipment maintenance
• Good communication skills and interpersonal relations
• Computer literate
