Location : Remote (Philippines or similar time zone)

Schedule : Full-time, with a few hours overlap in U.S. business hours

Tech Stack : TypeScript, React Native, Node.js, Prisma, Postgres

The Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer , you’ll play a pivotal role in building and scaling the platform from the ground up. This is a hands-on role that combines backend engineering , API design , and mobile development . You’ll collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver features that power real-time communication and community-driven experiences.

You’ll own projects end-to-end — from shaping data models and optimizing backend performance to crafting seamless, responsive mobile experiences that delight users.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain end-to-end features across the stack using TypeScript, Node.js, Prisma, and React Native.

Implement and optimize real-time communication features ensuring performance and scalability.

Design and maintain type-safe APIs and Postgres database schemas with a focus on reliability and data integrity.

Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate ideas into elegant, high-performing user experiences.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code , with strong attention to performance and developer experience.

Participate in code reviews , CI / CD processes , and help shape engineering best practices .

Contribute to technical architecture decisions and mentor other engineers.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.

Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js .

Hands-on experience with React Native and mobile app development .

Familiarity with Prisma , Postgres , and modern backend frameworks .

Experience building real-time applications using WebSockets or similar technologies.

Understanding of type safety , CI / CD , and scalable system design.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team .
