This is a remote position.

Schedule :

  • 40 hours per week, 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time
  • Client Timezone :   Pacific Time (California)

Job Description :

You’ll be the vital first point of contact for hundreds of patients daily, playing a crucial role in their healthcare journey by managing appointments and addressing their care-related concerns. This isn’t just answering phones - you’ll be helping patients navigate their pain management treatment, ensuring they get the appointments they need when they need them. You’ll work as part of a dedicated team handling high-volume operations while making a meaningful difference in healthcare accessibility.

Responsibilities :

  • Schedule patient appointments across multiple pain management clinic locations throughout California
  • Check and confirm appointment statuses for existing patients seeking care updates
  • Handle inbound calls regarding patient medication status and prescription inquiries
  • Process appointment modifications and cancellations with attention to patient needs
  • Provide compassionate customer service support for patients calling about their care
  • Manage high-volume inbound call flow as part of a team processing 400-500 daily calls
  • Maintain accurate patient information and appointment scheduling systems
  • Coordinate between multiple clinic locations to optimize patient scheduling
  • Requirements :

  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience in medical field (phone support, authorization processing, or healthcare-related roles)
  • Professional phone manner with patient-focused approach
  • Experience with appointment scheduling systems and customer service protocols
  • Ability to handle high-volume call environments with composure
  • Bonus if you’re comfortable with medical terminology and insurance processes
  • It helps if you have experience working Pacific Time hours
