Manager, Privacy Engineering

Responsibilities

• Technical Assessment of Regulatory and AI Requirements

Evaluate and translate privacy, regulatory, and AI mandates (, explainability, algorithmic fairness, data localization, consent management, accountability) into technical requirements and robust system designs.

Lead and conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and technical reviews of new products, systems, or significant changes, ensuring identification and mitigation of privacy andpliance risks in line with global data protection requirements.

Perform risk assessments for AI systems to evaluate and mitigate privacy, regulatory, security, and ethical concerns associated with AI development and deployment, inpliance with recognized frameworks and industry standards.

Architect, develop, and deploy privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) such as pseudonymization, encryption, and differential privacy, as well as advanced and trustworthy AI solutions ensuringpliance, fairness, and security.

Provide technical direction for the engineering of AI systems (, machine learning models, automated decision engines) to ensure design and operation meet principles of fairness, transparency, accountability, and privacy.

Develop and maintain operational processes and technical controls for AIernance, including risk assessments, monitoring, performance and impact evaluation, andpliance mapping to relevant regulatory and ethical frameworks.

Engineer automation tools for regulatory and AI-specificpliance monitoring, reporting, documentation, versioning, and audit functions (, model cards, consent records, bias detection).

Work with data engineers and ML specialists to ensure strong privacy, security, and AI controls throughout data and model lifecycles (including collection, preprocessing, training, deployment, retention, deletion).

Create monitoring systems, dashboards, and key metrics for privacy, regulatory, and AI controls; proactively identify and address areas of technical nonpliance or exposure.

Contribute to the creation and review of technical standards, guidelines, and policies addressing privacy engineering, regulatorypliance, and AIernance requirements.

Act as a technical advisor for business, legal,pliance, data science, and engineering teams, driving adoption of PETs, regulatory and engineering best practices, responsible AI, and ethical technology.

Support incident investigations, root-cause analyses, remediation, and reporting for privacy breaches, regulatory failings, and AI system malfunctions.

Carry out other responsibilities and tasks as may be assigned to support and enhance privacy, regulatory, and AIernance operations across the organization.
