Aba Data Entry / Clinical Progress Note Writer

Position Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to support our ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) team by accurately documenting clinical progress notes and entering data.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written communication skills, a strong understanding of confidentiality standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate clinical documentation for clients and supporting the ongoing evaluation of treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities : Accurately enter client data into the ABA software or electronic records system.

Write clear, concise, and professional clinical progress notes based on therapy sessions.

Summarize session outcomes, client behavior, and therapy progress for review by clinicians.

Ensure all documentation complies with ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.

Collaborate with RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians) and supervising clinicians to clarify session details as needed.

Maintain organized records for easy retrieval and reporting.

Follow established procedures to ensure timely and accurate documentation.

Assist in generating reports for clinicians, supervisors, and insurance purposes.

Identify and report inconsistencies or gaps in data to supervisors.

Continuously improve documentation processes in line with organizational standards.

Requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Familiarity with ABA therapy terminology and clinical documentation preferred.

Experience with data entry or medical / clinical documentation is a plus.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive client information.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) or other data entry software.

Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines consistently.
