Job description

The Project Development Manager oversees monitoring the profitability of projects and directing the entire project development cycle, which includes setting up property management operations, conducting feasibility studies, designing, and planning projects, launching, and implementing projects, and handing over projects to customers

Key Responsibilities :

Project Conceptualization & Feasibility

Identify and conceptualize new development opportunities based on market trends and business goals.
Conduct feasibility studies and market research to assess project viability, demand, and financial potential.
Develop business strategies for new projects, including pricing, positioning, and target markets.

Project Planning & Execution

Lead the master planning, design, and development process in coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants.

Oversee budgeting, cost analysis, and financial projections to ensure profitability.

Secure necessary government permits and regulatory approvals for project implementation.

Monitor construction progress and project execution to ensure adherence to timelines, quality, and budget.

Lead the handover process to customers, ensuring smooth transition to property management.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Coordination

Collaborate with internal teams across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Operations to align project goals.

Work closely with external stakeholders, investors, contractors, and government agencies for project approvals and execution.

Lead teams in resolving project delays, risks, and challenges to ensure timely completion.

Financial & Market Analysis

Track project performance against profitability targets and investment returns.

Assess real estate market conditions and adjust business strategies accordingly.

Provide recommendations for new business opportunities, expansion, and investment strategies.

Qualifications :

Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.

Has an at least 8 - 10 years of experience in project development, business development, feasibility studies, or real estate development.

Strong background in conceptualizing development projects, financial analysis, feasibility studies, and market research.

Experience in sales and marketing strategies for real estate projects.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of local building codes, real estate regulations, and permitting processes.
