POSITION SUMMARY :

Vertiv is hiring an NPDI Sourcing Engineer. As a member of the Global Procurement Team, the person will lead the sourcing activities for an assigned Line of Business. This position will be the designated point of contact managing all sourcing activities related to new product introduction, product cost reductions, production transfers, supply chain design, and time to market. Working closely with the Engineering and Commodity teams to monitor critical prototype parts, determine e-Auctions opportunities, perform risk & resiliency assessment, and be responsible for reporting status to agreed KPIs.

Primary Responsibilities :

Minimum Education Level

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic), Supply Chain Operations and / or Business.

Minimum Years of Experience

5-7 years of supply chain, Engineering, or related experience.

Special Skills

Licensures / Certifications

Preferred :   PMP (Project Management Professional) and / or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Chain)

Travel Requirements

% of Travel :  15%
