Same Day Surgery (SDS) Medical Coder

Location : Quezon City

Work Set-up : On-site

Work Shift : Dayshift

Summary of Roles and Responsibilities :

This role is for a medical coder specializing in Ambulatory Surgery cases. The primary responsibility is to accurately review medical records (specifically SDS - likely meaning Surgical Day Services or a similar designation) and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT codes for diagnoses and procedures. This includes correct sequencing of codes and application of Level I and Level II modifiers, all in accordance with official coding guidelines, coding clinics, and CPT assistants.

Qualifications :

• MUST be willing to work onsite (Quezon City)
• Has an active CPC, COC, CCS-P and / or CCS
• College Graduate of BS Nursing or any Med Allied Course
• 3 years solid SDS Medical Coding Experience
