Consultant -Vaccine Preventable Disease Surveillance and Immunization

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Measles Outbreak Preparedness and Response Plan in Region IV A and NCR
• Facilitate the piloting and implementation of the standardized SS visits using standardized approved checklist
• Facilitates the Training of Trainers to pilot-test Supportive Supervision Tool and Training Modules for Clinicians
• Facilitate the Clinicians Trainings on VPD Surveillance focusing on mentorship, updated measles protocols and skill reinforcement via follow-up using Learning Resource package
• Facilitate the Localized Measles Risk Assessment using multi-indicator analysis (. population immunity, surveillance quality, program performance & threat / susceptibility). Utilize standardized risk scoring matrix
• Convene Technical Working Group to finalize the Localized Measles Risk Assessment
• Co-facilitate / host multisectoral meetings, validate findings and identify specific issue and resource gaps
• Support to MR SIA from preparatory phase to implementation and Post Implementation Phase in coordination with DOH NIP, CDC Philippines and other key stakeholders
