Responsibilities :

  • Coding of transactions in client Xero files
  • Preparation of business BAS and IAS
  • Prepare financial statements for companies and trusts
  • Prepare income tax returns for companies and trusts
  • Preparation of individual tax returns
  • Prepare working papers to support the above
  • Preparation of Xero and other management reports
  • Assistance with in-house / value add projects when required
  • Management of personal workflow
  • Assist other team members with various ad hoc duties

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting
  • At least 3 / 5 or more years of similar experience in Australian Chartered Accounting experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting and taxation concepts
  • Experience with Xero
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with other team members and clients
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Willingness to assist and support others as required and work with team members
