Setup and Location : WFH

Work Schedule : 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM (AEDT) | 5 : 00 AM–2 : 00 PM (PH Time)

Employment Type : Full-time

We are looking for an Electrical Estimator to join our team and contribute to the design and development of high-quality switchboard solutions. In this role, you will work closely with our Electrical Engineers and Production Team, assisting with drafting, technical documentation, and project coordination. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to develop their skills in electrical drafting and engineering with a specialised industry.

What You'll Do :

You’ll be the kind of person who :

  • Interpret and revise electrical diagrams, including single-line and control diagrams, in line with Australian regulations.
  • Estimate project costs based on customer specifications and electrical plans.
  • Prepare equipment lists for projects to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and construction teams, explaining designs and making necessary adjustments.
  • Provide workshop support, including tasks related to electrical cabling when required.
  • Liaise with key stake holders clients, estimators, project management, workshop personnel and suppliers

Requirements

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who :

  • Qualifications : AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma, OR at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams accurately.
  • Solid understanding of NSW Service Rules and Australian Wiring Standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong computer skills.
  • Basic knowledge of switchgear components.
  • Strong communication skills – must be able to clearly articulate technical viewpoints, especially when liaising with supply authorities and engineers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks under high pressure.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong grasp of construction processes, preparing accurate cost estimates, analysing project specifications, excellent attention to detail, deadline-driven environment and ensuring our proposals are competitive and profitable. You’ll work closely with our project managers, designers, and suppliers to prepare accurate and competitive quotes for a wide variety of landscaping and construction works. What You’ll Do You’ll be the kind of person who : Prepare detailed estimates and bid proposals for commercial and high-end residential landscape construction projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks. Coordinate take-offs and pricing for materials, labor, and equipment. Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and operations teams throughout the pre-construction process. Lead bid strategy sessions and provide recommendations to executive leadership. Maintain estimating database and historical cost information. Requirements What You Bring We’re looking for someone who : 5+ years of estimating experience in landscape construction, site development, or related field. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry pricing, with landscape experience considered an advantage. Proficiency in estimating software is required, with experience in Cubit and Buildsoft considered a plus. Ability to read and interpret landscape and civil construction plans. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
