The LazAffiliates Acquisition and Communications Lead plays a dual role at the intersection of business development and brand communications. This role is responsible for strategically acquiring and onboarding high-quality affiliate partners—such as Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), influencers, content creators, social media companies, and talent agencies—while simultaneously overseeing the governance and effectiveness of LazAffiliates’ communication channels.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and results-driven individual with strong partner management skills and a passion for building communities. You will help scale Lazada’s affiliate ecosystem by growing our network, improving the partner experience, and ensuring consistent and engaging communications across platforms.
Business Development & Partner Acquisition
- Drive acquisition and activation of high-potential affiliate partners including KOLs, influencers, content creators, and mobile-first individuals.
- Manage and nurture long-term partnerships with talent agencies, content aggregators, and relevant organizations.
- Optimize the acquisition funnel by tracking lead quality, conversion rates, and channel effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Comms, Campaigns, Public Relations, and Marketing teams to co-launch strategic initiatives and joint campaigns.
- Provide actionable, data-driven post-campaign insights to enhance future executions.
- Coordinate with regional teams on new tools and product features that improve the affiliate partner experience.
Communication & Brand Authority
Own and optimize all affiliate-facing communication channels with consistent, timely, and brand-aligned messaging.Strengthen LazAffiliates' presence and engagement across owned social media platforms.Build and manage an informative and accessible content ecosystem (toolkits, newsletters, guides) to continuously educate and empower partners.Monitor and report on key engagement and communication metrics to refine outreach strategies.Ensure communication governance across teams, channels, and regions to maintain clarity and alignment.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
Volume and quality of affiliate sign-upsDecreased customer acquisition cost (CAC)Growth in number and reach of communication channelsSocial media follower growth and engagement rate Job Requirements Qualifications & Skills3–5 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Community Management, or related rolesProven ability to acquire, manage, and negotiate with partners or clientsStrong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with confidence in data analysis and storytellingExperience using data to evaluate campaign performance and drive strategic decisionsComfort working in cross-functional, fast-paced, and high-growth environmentsExcellent project management and organizational skillsA proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownershipGood-to-Have :
