PGATech Group of Companies is looking for an IT Support Supervisor to lead and oversee our internal IT team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in IT support and infrastructure; 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of networks, firewalls, servers, and IT security frameworks.
- Working knowledge of software systems, APIs, or scripting (e.g., Php, JS, or mysql) is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Willing to work full-time, on-site at our Kamuning, Quezon City office
Job Summary
The IT Support Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of the organization’s IT infrastructure with strong focus on network stability, cybersecurity, and hardware systems. This role also requires broad knowledge in software systems, coding, and integrations, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively guide the IT team and collaborate cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure, Systems & Network
Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, servers, networks, and other IT systems.Ensure high availability and performance of all network systems including LAN / WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless connectivity.Conduct routine system health checks, backups, upgrades, and patch management.Cybersecurity & Compliance
Develop, enforce, and update IT security policies, including firewall rules, access controls, antivirus, and data encryption.Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant data security standards and ensure business continuity through disaster recovery protocols.Technical Support & Operations
Supervise helpdesk operations to ensure timely resolution of technical issues across departments.Provide technical support, including diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware / software issues.Manage IT asset lifecycle : procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of IT equipment.Leadership & Strategy
Plan and oversee IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, and technology rollouts.Mentor, train, and guide IT staff in their technical and professional development.Define IT performance goals and metrics; maintain and report on the IT roadmap.Collaborate with management and other departments to align IT strategy with company objectives.Software, Coding & Integrations
Oversee software deployment and support across the organization from business applications to productivity tools.Review basic scripts, automation tools, or code snippets to enhance IT operations.Support integration of new platforms or systems with existing infrastructure.Additional Responsibilities
Manage and administer the company’s email systems, cloud storage, internal website, and file servers.Liaise with vendors, service providers, and contractors for IT-related procurement and support.Provide documentation, reporting, and recommendations on system performance and optimization.Participate in company-sanctioned training and cross-functional activities.Support other PGATECH Group of Companies as needed with IT resources and services.
