Shift Schedule : 9 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM EST (with flexibility; partial overlap required)
Create high quality designs for infant accessories including hair accessories, socks, infant shoes, bibs, photo op sets, dresses, and related soft goods. This role requires strong graphics ability combined with textile knowledge to ensure all designs are aesthetically appealing, feasible for production, and aligned with category standards. Support the design team by producing accurate tech packs, production artwork, and packaging files. Work closely with in-house designers to understand materials, fabrications, card packaging, and product construction. Deliver work quickly and with minimal revisions.

Objectives of this role :
To develop appealing, production ready designs for infant accessories that align with the companys creative direction
To create accurate tech packs, graphics, and artwork with minimal back and forth
To ensure designs properly reflect fabric behavior, material limitations, and manufacturability
To support fast turnaround timelines through organized, accurate, and timely deliverables
Responsibilities :
Design a variety of infant accessories including hair bows, socks, infant shoes, photo op sets, bibs, and apparel like infant dresses
Create production ready artwork, packaging layouts, die lines, and complete tech packs
Develop concepts, color palettes, trims, patterns, and seasonal graphic elements
Work closely with material guidelines and understand fabrics, ribbons, knits, and soft goods construction
Design packaging for accessories including backer cards, card weights, textures, and related elements
Collaborate with the in house design team to align on style direction and requirements
Revise artwork based on feedback while delivering changes quickly and accurately
Ensure all designs follow brand standards, safety requirements, and retailer specifications
Conduct basic trend and market research for infant styles, colors, and materials
Maintain organized file libraries, artwork archives, and documentation
Required skills and qualifications :
Strong graphic design abilities suited for accessories or apparel
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
Experience designing baby or childrens products, or similar soft goods
Understanding of fabrics, trims, materials, and how different fabrications behave
Ability to create clean, accurate, production ready artwork and tech packs
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce fast, high quality work
Ability to follow creative direction and collaborate with cross functional teams
Preferred skills and qualifications
Experience designing infant accessories or soft goods
Knowledge of packaging for accessories such as cards and carded items
Experience with embroidery, applique, or embellishment design
Familiarity with major US retailer requirements
Ability to design both graphics and physical accessory concepts
Trend awareness in childrens fashion
Women preferred based on historical success in this product category, though exceptional male candidates will also be considered
