Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our growing remote accounting team. If you excel in managing complex financial operations and maintaining complete, compliant books across multiple business locations, this role is for you.
You’ll be responsible for the entire accounting cycle — handling accounts payable and receivable, payroll entries, reconciliations, and monthly reporting. You’ll ensure each financial statement is accurate, timely, and aligned with business goals.
As you master the core functions, you’ll take on strategic financial responsibilities such as preparing profit and loss statements, analyzing budget variances, and managing integrations from platforms like QuickBooks Online, Clover POS, Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP, AR, payroll entries, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze monthly P&L statements and financial reports for multiple locations.
Investigate variances and ensure accurate expense allocation across departments and sites.
Track and manage COGS, labor costs, operating expenses, and third-party delivery fees.
Import and reconcile daily sales and payouts from POS and delivery platforms (e.g., Clover, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub).
Maintain vendor relationships and oversee payments and collections.
Coordinate payroll processing, ensuring correct labor cost allocation by location.
Lead month-end close processes, including accruals, depreciation, and adjusting journal entries.
Maintain audit-ready financials and assist with external audits and tax preparation.
Support leadership with financial insights to guide strategic decisions.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper , preferably in a restaurant, hospitality, or multi-location environment .
Advanced QuickBooks Online proficiency (class / location tracking, reconciliations, journal entries).
Strong knowledge of restaurant or retail accounting (COGS, labor costs, delivery fee reconciliation).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation).
Experience managing integrations with POS and third-party platforms (Clover, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub).
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Self-directed, reliable, and able to manage deadlines independently in a remote setup.
