Role Name : Paralegal & Executive Assistant
Schedule : 20 hours per week Monday-Friday 9 : 30am to 2 : 00pm EST
Client Time zone : Eastern Time (New York)

Responsibilities :
Manage attorney's calendar and scheduling, ensuring all appointments and deadlines are properly tracked
Handle both personal and professional scheduling needs, including family-related appointments
Monitor and respond to communications via WhatsApp, text messages, and email
Transcribe legal documents from various formats (including photos) into Word documents
Assist with family law matters including divorce, wills and trusts, prenups, and guardianship cases
Support court filing processes through online systems
Provide general administrative support for solo law practice operations
Communicate with clients, including Spanish-speaking clients when needed
Summarize emails and filter relevant communications for attorney review
Requirements
Paralegal experience in the United States, preferably with Washington state legal system knowledge
Strong English language skills, both written and spoken
Spanish language proficiency (highly preferred)
Proficiency with Google Calendar and Google Workspace tools
Experience with WhatsApp and text messaging for business communications
Family law experience (divorce, estate planning, guardianships, prenups)
Flexibility to handle both professional legal work and personal administrative tasks
Availability during East Coast business hours (approximately 9 : 30 AM - 2 : 00 PM EST)
