Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, fittings, valves, drainage systems, and appliances.
2. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems and equipment to identify potential issues.
3. Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies, leaks, blockages, or breakdowns within company-managed properties.
4. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize system downtime and extend asset life.
5. Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
6. Collaborate with other property service staff (electricians, carpenters, HVAC technicians) to resolve complex maintenance issues.
7. Prepare cost estimates for plumbing repairs, materials, and labor when required.
8. Maintain accurate service records, job logs, and work reports.
9. Assist in planning and implementing plumbing system upgrades and renovations.
10. Monitor inventory of plumbing tools, materials, and supplies, and request replenishment as necessary.
11. Provide excellent customer service to tenants, property occupants, and stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience :
1. High school diploma or equivalent; Technical / Vocational Certificate in Plumbing or related field.
2. Valid plumber’s license (if required by local regulations).
3. Minimum 2–3 years of plumbing experience, preferably in property services, facilities management, or construction.
4. Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, equipment, and safety practices.
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.
6. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
7. Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
8. Good communication and teamwork skills.
