In Search for Accountants, Bookkeepers, and Auditors.
Job Description
First 3 months will be Onsite to build teamwork and Following Months would be Hybrid 2 days Work Onsite 3 days WFH.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviews client tax returns and accounts prepared by the accounting / outsourced team
- Provides a point of contact for clients to our firm
- Project manages the workflow of the client throughout the Practice
- Managing key client relationships in conjunction with Partners
- Responds to client queries promptly, within 24-48 hours
- Looks after the commercial interests of the firm and the client
- Innovates processes to make things easier and simpler to process
- Review turnover time, no longer than 3 days
- Responsibility to mentor, train and delegate tasks to a team of accountants
- Assist with identifying areas of improvement across the firm including processes and efficiencies
- Must have a professional approach and the ability to self-manage and identify matters that require action and complete either by self or through delegation to the team
- Advanced working knowledge of GST, Business Activity Statements and Installment Activity Statements
- Displays a detailed understanding of company secretarial matters such as lodgements, fees and general requirements
- To assist with potential and new client opportunities or initiatives such as attending client meetings, preparation of advice and presentations
- Other duties as required by the organisation such as interviewing clients, attendance at training, marketing, and acting as a mentor to a new staff member
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor degree in Commerce / Business with an emphasis in AccountingCA or CPA is preferred but not requiredMinimum of 7+ years experience in public practiceExperience in compliance work for individuals, businesses, and SMSF'sAdequate amount of supervisory, leadership and technical experience to successfully undertake the roleStrong verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required.Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.High level of competency and confidence in presenting to clients and other stakeholdersSound knowledge of tax / business services complianceDemonstrable experience and skill in effectively leading and managing a team to achieve and exceed KPI’sIs a product specialist (Xero, etc.) and can support other staff in acquiring this skill set.Seniority level
