Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team. The following responsibilities outline expected contributions across the role.
- Technical Design — Develop and deliver comprehensive technical design documents that define system architecture, data models, and core components. Designs must adhere to standard industry practices and align with project scope requirements.
- Code Development — Write, test, and deliver high-quality source code based on approved designs and project specifications. Primary technologies include GraphQL / REST APIs, Java Spring Boot WebFlux, and AWS.
- Testing and Quality Assurance — Conduct thorough testing of code and system components to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Deployment — Deploy final solutions to production through the existing CI / CD architecture, following established pipelines, schedules and integration guidelines.
- Support and Maintenance — Provide post-deployment support and maintenance for production code; troubleshoot and resolve issues, applying necessary fixes and optimizations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.3–5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a similar role.Proficient in Java EE technologies and core Java; experience with SOAP / REST APIs, SQL databases, and application servers like Tomcat / JBoss.Web and front-end development experience using AngularJS and React.Strong database management knowledge (MySQL, SQL, DB2) with hands-on experience in SQL Joins and PL / SQL.Familiar with DevOps tools, Agile fundamentals, and CI / CD pipelines.What awaits you at DXC
