This is a remote position.
Schedule :
- Monday to Friday from 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM with 1 hour unpaid break
- 40 hours per week
- Client Timezone : Australian Eastern Time (Sydney)
Scope :
Full-time position (40 hours per week)Hybrid role combining approximately 60% executive assistant duties and 40% bookkeeping tasksDirect reporting to the Principal of the law firmPotential for role expansion as the firm grows (3-4 team members projected)Long-term position with growth opportunities within the organizationAustralian time zone alignment required for client and Principal communicationResponsibilities :
Manage calendar scheduling and coordinationHandle inbox management and email correspondencePrepare and send out engagement letters to clientsRespond to client queries and provide administrative supportPerform general bookkeeping duties and financial record maintenanceHandle trust account bookkeeping (if specialized in this area)Provide comprehensive administrative support to the PrincipalAssist with day-to-day office operations and client communicationsRequirements

Requirements
Experience in executive assistant or administrative support roles for at least 4 years Bookkeeping experience and knowledge of accounting principles Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Familiarity with legal industry practices (preferred) Experience with trust account management (highly desirable) Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Professional demeanor for client interactions
