The Web and SEO Specialist is responsible for managing, optimising, and reporting on client websites and search engine optimisation campaigns. This includes ensuring all client sites are technically sound, optimised for conversions, SEO-friendly, and regularly updated.
They work closely with the Account Manager and Paid Ads Specialist to ensure that landing pages and websites support overall marketing performance and lead generation goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES : DAILY :
- Monitor Meta and Google Ads campaign performance across all client accounts.
- Identify issues proactively and apply fixes to underperforming campaigns.
- Stay informed of platform updates, trends, and algorithm changes.
WEEKLY :
Conduct keyword ranking checks and share updates with the Account Manager.Implement technical SEO fixes (site speed, broken links, mobile responsiveness, indexation).Optimise existing pages for target keywords and conversion.Coordinate with Paid Ads Specialist on landing page testing and conversion improvements.Provide weekly performance highlights to the Account Manager (rankings, traffic, leads).MONTHLY :
Publish or update website content according to SEO / content plan.Complete monthly SEO performance report (organic traffic, rankings, conversions, technical audit findings).Conduct backlink audits and outreach (if part of strategy).Review competitor SEO activity and identify opportunities.Update Google Business Profile and local citations where relevant.QUARTERLY :
Conduct a full website audit (technical, content, and UX).Present the quarterly SEO growth plan to the Account Manager for each client.Refresh or redesign key landing pages if required.QUALIFICATIONS :
Proven experience with WordPress (or similar CMS) and technical SEO.Knowledge of on-page SEO, local SEO, and content optimisation.Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, SEMrush / Ahrefs, PageSpeed Insights.Understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) and UX best practices.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Organised and able to manage multiple projects.Clear and proactive communicator.Results-driven and able to work independently.Curious and committed to ongoing learning
