Healthcare Associate – Job Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, or chats related to healthcare services.
Assist patients, providers, or members with inquiries regarding benefits, claims, eligibility, billing, and medical procedures.
Verify patient / member information and update records accurately in the system.
Process prior authorizations, referrals, or claims according to healthcare policies and procedures.
Provide support in scheduling appointments and coordinating with healthcare providers.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company confidentiality standards when handling sensitive information.
Resolve customer concerns in a professional, timely, and empathetic manner.
Escalate complex cases to higher support levels when necessary.
Meet performance metrics such as quality, accuracy, and turnaround time.
Participate in training sessions to stay updated on healthcare policies, products, and services.
