Job Description : JOB PURPOSE

JOB PURPOSE

Provide IT support services (Hardware and Software) to Store operations in order to resolve

encountered problems that affects use of Computer systems (Point of Sales machines, printers,

scanners, etc.)

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyzes and solves Store computer applications and systems hardware problems via Phone support,

email, remote support or other Information Technology platforms.

  • Install POS Hardware and Software applications for use in new Store openings
  • Provides a wide range of technical assistance to Store operation users.
  • Provides technical support for research and development initiatives and new technologies.
  • Suggest alternative procedures to improve existing procedures when needed
  • Maintains applicable records including user lists, user accounts and security, and equipment

inventory.

  • Advises on alternative computer technologies, and on the implications of alternative selections.
  • Document problem solutions in company knowledge base
  • Note : Other duties related to the responsibilities and output of the position but not included in this

document may be assigned by the immediate superior.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work is normally performed in a typical Store environment which is located nationwide
  • Expect 80-90% field work

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Ability to understand complex technical requirements and communicate them clearly in a verbal or

written format

2. Strong Customer service orientation, well organized with time management skills

3. Understanding of Windows automated processes, basic scripting and backup management

4. Working knowledge of Linux and Windows based operating systems

5. Ability to troubleshoot and find resolutions to simple to complex technical problems reported by the Store operation users.

6. Must be knowledgeable with Windows 7 / 8 / 10 configuration and support.

7. Strong troubleshooting skills with experience on network related issues

8. Able to work well under established budgets and tight deadlines
