The Store Manager ensures that all team members understand their roles, executes brand directions, and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction.The role requires a strategic approach to integrating various departments such as marketing, merchandising, operations, and visual merchandising to achieve business objectives.
Sales and Business Objectives :
- Focus on achieving store sales targets and business growth.
- Plan and set sales targets for each floor and brand, cascading numbers to store supervisors.
- Spot and close partnerships within the group
- Analyze inventory against sales targets and request merchandise as needed.
- Report sales performance and analyze factors affecting sales periods.
- Integrate marketing, merchandising, operations, and visual merchandising strategies into a cohesive effort.
- Set timelines and milestones for timely execution of deliverables.Operational Efficiency :
- Implement expense control measures and develop utility schedules.
- Provide optimum manpower schedules to minimize overtime.
- Prioritize essential repairs and maintenance.
- Review and approve manpower plotting and scheduling.
- Coordinate with SBU ops and VM for store-specific visual merchandising directions.Policy Implementation and Compliance :
- Implement all brand policies, procedures, guidelines, andpromotions.
- Monitor quality of implementation and document progress.
- Ensure staff compliance and alignment with brand standards.Inventory Management :
- Monitor store inventory levels to maintain healthy stock levels.
- Ensure physical and virtual inventory tally at all times.- Execute policies on inventory variances and losses, ensuring follow-through actions.Performance Monitoring :
- Monitor daily reports for sales performance and inventory levels.
- Conduct and discuss store checklists with staff for consistent understanding and implementation.Customer Service :
- Address customer needs and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction at all times.Leadership and Support :
- Oversee and guide all departments and personnel in operational and sales activities.
- Ensure that staff are fully supported with training, information, and performance understanding.
Job Qualifications
Graduate of a Bachelor's DegreeProven experience in retail management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and inventory management.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer service issues effectively.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
