Excis is a global IT services company, headquartered in the United Kingdom. We are now looking to recruit a Service Transition Manager to join our Cairo team to look after one of our large global clients.

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Service Transition Manager to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the seamless transition of IT services from development into operational support. You’ll ensure that all aspects of service delivery — including people, processes, and technologies — are aligned and ready for successful implementation.

Key Responsilbilities :

• Lead the end-to-end service transition process for IT projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and service standards.
• Develop and execute comprehensive transition plans, including risk management, communication strategies, training, and handover activities.
• Coordinate and lead service acceptance reviews to validate operational readiness.
• Collaborate with project managers, service owners, development teams, and operations to ensure go-live readiness.
• Lead and guide internal teams including Project Managers, Coordinators, and technical staff, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
• Monitor team performance against quality, service level, and cost KPIs.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new engineers and transition team members.
• Own and manage P&L responsibilities for assigned transitions.
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue through service enhancements and performance improvements.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL standards and contribute to continual service improvement efforts.
• Explore and implement innovative processes and technologies to drive commercial value.
• Ensure all operational documentation and support materials are complete and accessible.
• Track transition progress, report on key milestones, and resolve issues as they arise.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to service deployment and handover.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions.

Requirements

Service Transition & Project Management – Expertise in planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end IT service transitions, ensuring operational readiness and smooth go-live. ITIL & Service Management Frameworks – Strong understanding and application of ITIL principles across incident, change, and configuration management. Technical Proficiency – Solid background in Field Service Operations, IoT / Smart Device Installations, Infrastructure Support, and familiarity with ITSM / FSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce Field Service, FSM360). Leadership & Stakeholder Management – Proven ability to lead cross-functional global teams and build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Analytical & Governance Skills - Strong capability in documentation, governance, risk management, and KPI tracking to drive continuous improvement and service excellence.
