Job description

Qualifications

  • With a Diploma or Certificate in Industrial Mechanics.
  • Preferably a Mechanical Technology graduate.
  • Being a Certified Millwright is a strong advantage.
  • Has 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a coal-based CFB power plant.
  • Willing to be assigned in Iligan City.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Give priority to safety for all plant operation activity, manpower and plant equipment in overall.
  • Carries Preventive, Conditional based, Breakdown & Shutdown Maintenance as given by Engineers / Supervisor of total plant and critical equipment of Boiler & Turbine Auxiliaries.
  • Carries all kind of Critical activities as like Alignments and Overhauling of all plant equipment specially rotating equipment like Pumps & Gearboxes etc.
  • Carries all kind of Valves servicing as like High Pressure Safety Valves, Motorised Valves and Control Valves.
  • Carries Modifications Jobs and Fabrication Jobs as site requirements.
  • Maintains all Rotating equipment and Static equipment as per the Checklist / Instructions.
  • Maintains proper Material Handling Equipment like Belt conveyors, Roller screens and Crushers.
  • Troubleshoots equipment related problems with timeline.
  • Conducts condition monitoring of All rotating equipment as per checklist.
  • Ensures efficient utilisation of spares and consumables.
  • Conducts materials shifting / rigging in a proper manner and ensures safety to working area.
  • Ensures the safety of workman and equipment.
  • Work for the Mechanical work shop and equipment repairing.
  • Strictly follows the safety rules and regulation during activities.
  • Assisting in getting offer and TBE for the Mechanical Items.
  • Performs work-related jobs as required and deemed necessary by management in the event of plant shutdown and / or other occurrences in which the plant is not running
  • May perform other tasks related to the position or as per site requirement by the Plant Manager.
  • Maintain and records as per the ISO-9001 documentation requirement in the plants.
