Job Highlights

Contract : Independent Contractor

Schedule : Mon-Fri 9am-1pm EST (flexible), 20 hours a week

Client Timezone : Eastern Time (Ohio)

Scope

• 20 hours per week
• Work during client's business hours with high availability expectations
• Direct client interaction including video calls and technical discussions
• Focus primarily on WordPress development with occasional Shopify projects
• Work with international team members across different time zones
• Handle both development and technical support responsibilities
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and business owners
• Maintain long-term client relationships through reliable service delivery

Please note that since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Requirements

Requirements : Senior-level experience with WordPress development (5+ years preferred) Expert proficiency in Bricks Builder, Oxygen, Etch, and custom code development Strong experience converting Figma designs to functional websites Knowledge of REST API and WordPress technical troubleshooting Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) Clear English communication skills (accent acceptable but must be easily understood) Reliable internet connection and backup power solutions Professional appearance and demeanor for client video calls Open-minded and non-judgmental attitude when working with diverse clients Strong commitment to availability and responsiveness during working hours Shopify experience is a bonus but not required
