Overview

Join our team of CMT – High Tech consultants who drive enterprise transformation for global clients across Communications, Media & Technology industries. As part of the Digital Core & Enterprise Transformation team, you will collaborate with clients to drive finance modernization using SAP S / 4HANA and specialized modules like Vertex Tax Engine, SAP REFX, and SAP FICA. You will design, build, and implement SAP Finance solutions that redefine enterprise performance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive ERP platform‑driven business design and assessment, including value assessment, business case creation, and business process re‑engineering.
  • Provide solutions for client challenges in the SAP Finance landscape with Vertex tax engine or SAP REFX or SAP FICA experience, delivering expert insight throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, track, and resolve issues on time using strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Present and communicate effectively to stakeholders.
  • Engage with clients to understand requirements and scope, discover and define solutions, articulate business benefits and use cases, and develop a roadmap.
  • Develop innovative solution designs that leverage our extensive service offerings.
  • Support business development initiatives by collaborating on proposals, shaping solution plans, and defining delivery approaches for SAP transformations.
  • Oversee ERP integrations and assist in developing proof of concepts.
  • Apply strong analytical skills for clarity and data insights.
  • Proficiency in SAP Finance; strong understanding of concepts and principles; identify, design, and configure Vertex Tax engine or SAP FICA or SAP REFX with integration of other modules.
  • Serve as an SAP Finance functional consultant with Vertex tax engine experience and assist with solutions for end‑to‑end RFP requests.
  • Advise clients on SAP Finance and Vertex tax engine or SAP REFX or SAP FICA processes based on leading industry practices.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide training and support to client sales teams on order creation best practices.
  • Ensure all client sales activities are documented and tracked in the system.
  • Participate in the development of thought leadership content, including white papers and presentations on CMT industry topics.
  • Implement new requirements and maintain the Vertex O Series, focusing on the global indirect tax solution.
  • Configure and manage Vertex tax rules, rates, and jurisdictions; support mapping updates and conduct end‑to‑end testing to ensure no regression impacts across jurisdictions (US and outside US).
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to align tax systems with business needs and compliance requirements, and develop and maintain detailed documentation, including SOPs and user guides.
  • Configure SAP REFX / FICA functionalities; experience migrating RE Classic to REFX is an added advantage.
  • Support internal teams / internal users on SAP RE‑FX or SAP FICA issues and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of SAP experience, including 5 years or more of Vertex tax engine or SAP REFX or SAP FICA implementation experience.
  • Strong functional expertise in SAP Finance and integration with Vertex Tax Engine, SAP REFX, or SAP FICA.
  • Ability to configure and implement Vertex Tax rules, rates, and jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with global transactions.
  • Experience migrating from RE Classic to SAP REFX and supporting end users on FICA and REFX functionalities.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem‑solving capabilities, and communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills for C‑suite audiences.
  • Experience in proposal support and solution shaping for ERP engagements.
