Job description
  • Collecting and picking up goods and materials from the store going to the warehouse.
  • Ability to familiarize and memorize all the stores that we are supplying products.
  • Ability to know and familiarize all the locations that are passed.
  • Flexible and detail-oriented.
  • Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
  • Delivering and checking off (if required) goods at customers’ premises.
  • Perform daily inspections on all assigned vehicles, at the beginning of each shift.
  • Completing trucking sheets and run sheets with all relevant information.
  • Collecting goods according to instructions and completing associated paperwork.
  • Carrying out a routine daily inspection sheet prior to setting off and reporting any defects that occur during the course of the working day.
  • Abiding by current driver’s hours, rules and regulations including working time directives. Ensuring legal breaks are taken and tachographs are completed correctly.
  • Available to work required shifts and overtime during the week and on the day as required.
  • Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
