Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, understanding their
unique financial needs and providing tailored accounting solutions.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction andaddressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
Collaborate with clients to develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts.Provide insights and recommendations to clients to optimize financial performance.Finance and Accounting
Reviews disbursements, supplier invoices, contracts and agreementsPrepares bank reconciliationReconciles intercompany transactionsManages the recording and inventory of the multiple clients’ Fixed AssetsInitiates monthly, quarterly and annual closing of books. Prepare and analyzemanagement accounts
Assists the Operations Manager for FaaS in the internal and external auditengagement
Prepares supporting records and audit schedulesUpdates the bookkeeping and recording of transactions, maintenance and reviewof general ledger
Reviews timesheets for payroll processingPrepares and process payroll Financial ControllingLiaises with the auditors of our Clients during internal and external auditengagement
Ensures financial policies and controls are implemented, establish riskmanagement procedures, and review and update of existing policies, controls and
procedures
Liaises with tax authorities and other government offices for all statutory andcompliance requirements
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide proactive advice toclients.
Assists in the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial policies andprocedures Financial Reporting
Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial reportsAssists the Head of Finance and Accounting in budgeting / forecasting activitiesPeople Management
Develops a strategy on how to accomplish the set goal and provide necessarytraining needed by each member
Communicates clear instructions to the team on their tasks, responsibilities, andtheir development
Provides an avenue for team members to voice out their feedback, suggestions, andconcerns
Manages the flow of day-to-day operations e.g. ensuring that the tasks assigned areexecuted, on time, on point, and with the highest quality to avoid rework
Collaboration and Support
Collaborates with internal as well as external personnel in the execution of his / herfunctions
Liaises with banks for payroll account opening, bank related updates andtransactions
Process Management
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in financial processes.Develop and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy andefficiency.
