About the Role :

The Paralegal will provide high-level support to the Legal Department through legal research, document preparation, and compliance monitoring. This role involves drafting legal documents, managing corporate records, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and assisting in finance-related legal matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in supporting legal operations in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain all legal records in a centralized system promptly.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, and other relevant materials.
• Gather, summarize, and analyze data for legal cases and internal requests.
• Draft legal documents, discovery responses, and court filings.
• Coordinate requests and communications between internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Support Finance in preparing official documents, including banking powers of attorney, bank mandates, and board resolutions.
• Assist in collection of claims, liquidations, and other financial / legal matters.
• Prepare and maintain corporate records, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Organize and support board meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and drafting board resolutions and consents.
• Manage incorporation of new entities and closure of existing ones.
• Handle confidential correspondence and provide support for ad-hoc legal matters, such as restructuring.
