Local Consultancy : Immunization Information and Data Management (6 Months)

Scope of Work :

Under the supervision of the Immunization Specialist, the consultants will work in close coordination and collaboration with the UNICEF PCO team to conduct the following tasks :

1. Support DOH and regions to review the MR SIA data coverage (bottleneck analysis), provide recommendations on improving the access and coverage. 2. Support in the review and enhancement of existing immunization information system and M and E framework including the NIS M&E Framework. 3. Support the ongoing monitoring and implementation of project activities and validate results for CDS3 plus.

4. Provide technical support to DOH, LGUs and implementing partner in the collection, analysis, visualization and dissemination of immunization data. 5. Provide ongoing status reports and updates on the project implementation as per the M&E framework. 6. Facilitate in the coordination with DOH and other agencies in the development and finalization of the M&E and / or Result’s Framework of donor reports. 7. Support the assessment of the scale up of an expanded Reaching Every Purok Strategy and other innovations to improve routine immunization and contribute to measles and other vaccine-preventable elimination goals. 8. Support development of donor reports.

Individuals engaged under a consultancy or individual contract will not be considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures, and will not be entitled to benefits provided therein (such as leave entitlements and medical insurance coverage). Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and / or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.

The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that the visa (applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract. The candidate may also be subject to inoculation (vaccination) requirements, including against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid).
