Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and Sanitation : Washing dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery; cleaning kitchen equipment, floors, and surfaces; and maintaining high hygiene standards.
Waste Management : Properly disposing of kitchen waste and recycling.
Equipment and Supply Management : Operating and cleaning dishwashing machines, monitoring cleaning supplies, and restocking shelves with necessary items.
Kitchen Support : Assisting chefs and other kitchen staff with tasks, which may include receiving and storing deliveries or basic food preparation such as cutting fruits and vegetables.
Compliance and Safety : Following all food safety and sanitation procedures, reporting any maintenance issues, and ensuring the kitchen environment is safe for all staff.
