Overview
The Head of Information Technology is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the organization’s IT function. This role manages three key areas— IT Operations, Systems, and Infrastructure —to ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and efficient technology services that support business objectives. The position plays a critical role in driving digital transformation, enhancing user experience, and ensuring the reliability of IT platforms across the organization.
Responsibilities
IT Operations
- Oversee daily IT support and service delivery across all business units.
- Implement IT service management standards, including SLA monitoring and incident resolution.
- Manage IT budgets, optimize operational costs, and ensure policy compliance.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
Systems
Lead the development, deployment, and integration of enterprise systems and applications.Ensure systems effectively support business operations and customer engagement.Maintain data governance, cybersecurity protocols, and regulatory compliance.Introduce digital tools and platforms that improve operational efficiency and user experience.Infrastructure
Design and maintain robust IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud environments.Ensure reliable connectivity, data security, and system scalability.Establish disaster recovery, data backup, and business continuity plans.Define standards for hardware, software, and infrastructure to support long-term growth.Leadership Responsibilities
Build and lead a high-performing IT team across all functional areas.Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT strategy with business goals.Provide regular reporting on IT performance, risks, and strategic initiatives.Foster a culture of innovation, security awareness, and continuous improvement.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5 years in a senior management role.Strong background in IT operations, systems development, and infrastructure management.In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, and IT compliance standards.Proven experience in managing enterprise-level technology projects and digital initiatives.Excellent strategic planning, project management, and vendor negotiation skills.Strong leadership and communication abilities with a track record of building effective teams.#J-18808-Ljbffr
