Job description
  • Code, test, and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
  • Follow the progress of programs to ensure that they are operating correctly and fix any program errors that might occur along the way.
  • Perform monitoring tasks to ensure that the programs that they develop work as they are supposed to.
  • Maintains the databases used for the programming.
  • Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

    • Possibility of promotion (to Supervisory and Managerial level)

    • IT system design
    • Train members in programming and program encoding
