Senior Data Scientist - Data Ventures and Insights

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders in defining business problems, identifying challenges, discovering opportunities, and developing and implementing data-driven recommendations and insights.
• Prioritize, scope, and manage data science projects and the corresponding key performance indicators (KPIs) for success.
• Understand new and existing data sources and processing pipelines and catalog / document them.
• Apply statistical analysis and visualization methods and generate hypotheses about underlying mechanics of business processes.
• Develop and implement AI solutions leveraging big data and advanced analytic tools and techniques across the organization to contribute to revenue, cost / loss reduction, risk treatment, and compliance.
• Apply various machine learning and advanced analytics techniques while integrating domain knowledge into the ML solution.
• Establish best practices around ML operationalization and ML delivery lifecycle.
• Promote collaboration with other data science teams and encourage reuse of artifacts.
• Present opportunities, recommended solutions, and impact to the business, and outline implementation proposals to stakeholders.
