Position Responsibilities

• Building SaaS environment which includes installing application, system & application configuration.
• Provision of new SaaS customers by creating new databases & schemas, configuring application and report servers for Deltek Products.
• Deliver server maintenance for Deltek’s Cloud Professional Service Products, configuration changes, and security configurations.
• Take ownership of product technical knowledge and create team processes and training materials.
• Coordinate with a globally distributed team to continually drive our application delivery projects to success.
• Provision of L3 / L4 support to troubleshoot complex problems, provide software fault diagnosis, and resolve operational issues.
• Ownership of vulnerability management and security audit requests.
• Show accountability in creating process improvement initiatives.
• Take responsibility for the management of internal team projects to completion.
• Perform the responsibilities of a Cloud Release Engineer to assist in application updates and upgrades as needed.
• Document system architectures, systems configurations, technical operational processes, and playbooks.
• Create and maintain tools & automation.
• Adhering to a high standard in security protocol and procedures.

Qualifications

Must-have skills / experience :

• 3 years’ experience in using various programming or scripting languages such as Powershell and Python or similar well-known languages.
• 5 years’ experience in using MSSQL, Oracle, or similar database systems.Experience in creating simple to complex queries, creating SQL scripts, and creating stored procedures is required for Vision and VantagePoint Products.

Experience in running scripts and in backup and restore is required for Maconomy Products.

3 years' experience in supporting any of the following fields : Enterprise customer-facing application, computing platforms, and systems;

orOperation, Automation, DevOps, Delivery Engineer, Service Reliability Engineer, or similar field.

• L3 and L4 Application troubleshooting experience with the ability to identify and document the root cause of application issues.
• Experience in using public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or other similar cloud providers.
• Willing to work on permanent mid or night shift and amenable to changes on schedule depending on business needs.

Nice-to-have skills / experience :

• Experience working in a DevOps environment or knowledge of using DevOps tools or systems is an advantage.
• Experience using automated deployment technologies.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring, management tools, ticketing tools, and log management system.
• Diverse range of technical and operational interests and capabilities, including Linux, Microsoft Server, Internet Information Services (IIS), MySQL, Oracle DBMS, SQL Server, SQL Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), virtualization, monitoring, and automation technologies.

Other Qualifications :

• Ability to work in high-pressure, highly flexible environment against both short and long-term requirements
• Passionate about technology and solving IT operations-focused problems
• Ability to capture processes and create documentation.
• Must be detail-oriented, task-driven, and have excellent communication skills. The customer service focus is key.
