Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM (New York Time)
Total Weekly Hours : 40 hours
Our client is seeking a Junior Email & SMS Marketing Strategist to support the planning, execution, and optimization of lifecycle marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Klaviyo and Attentive, is detail-oriented, data-driven, and eager to grow in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
Responsibilities
Campaign Management
Execute and manage email and SMS campaigns aligned with content calendars and brand goals.
Schedule, target, and deploy campaigns using Klaviyo and Attentive.
Conduct full QA testing for every send and monitor campaign performance.
Set up and analyze A / B tests for subject lines, creative, segmentation, and send times.
Flow Strategy & Optimization
Build and optimize automated lifecycle flows (e.g., Welcome, Cart Abandonment, Browse Abandonment, Winback).
Collaborate with senior strategists on funnel analysis and performance insights.
Recommend flow enhancements based on retention data.
Deliverability Management
Conduct deliverability testing and monitor inbox placement.
Maintain sender reputation, IP / domain health, and list hygiene.
Support reputation recovery and warm-up strategies.
Segmentation & Personalization
Develop advanced segmentation strategies for behavioral and engagement-based targeting.
Maintain and clean audience segments to ensure high deliverability and engagement.
Analytics & Reporting
Generate actionable reports using Klaviyo, Shopify, and Triple Whale.
Track KPIs such as open rates, CTR, conversion, and revenue attribution.
Provide optimization recommendations based on data insights.
Content Planning & Collaboration
Support the creation of content calendars and campaign briefs.
Collaborate with copywriters and designers to align creative with strategic direction.
Research industry trends and apply insights to improve campaign performance.
AI & Process Enhancement
Use AI tools to support ideation, copy optimization, segmentation, and reporting.
Identify workflow improvements to boost campaign efficiency and output quality.
Requirements
2–3 years of hands-on experience in email and / or SMS marketing.
Strong proficiency in Klaviyo; knowledge of Attentive or similar platforms preferred.
Familiarity with GA4, Shopify Analytics, and Triple Whale for reporting.
Understanding of deliverability metrics, seed testing, and list cleaning.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with creative and technical teams.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred).
