Job Title : Senior Structural Engineer

Reporting to : Director / Associate Director / Engineering Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary design studio. This role is responsible for structural design, analysis, and coordination across a range of building typologies. The successful candidate will lead engineering documentation, conduct structural assessments, and provide construction phase support for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design calculations using relevant codes, standards, and software tools

Develop structural systems and innovative solutions for high-rise and complex buildings

Produce structural drawings, sketches, and documentation for design and construction

Integrate structural systems creatively into architectural concepts

Project Management & Coordination

Lead the structural design process from concept to construction documents

Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and consultants to ensure cohesive designs

Conduct structural assessments and evaluations of existing buildings

Attend project meetings, present structural strategies, and resolve design issues collaboratively

Construction & Technical Oversight

Support site inspections and provide engineering solutions during construction

Review shop drawings and submittals to ensure structural requirements are met

Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations

Stamp and sign drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record when necessary

Leadership & Communication

Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff

Foster a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture

Liaise with clients, contractors, and team members to communicate structural intent and resolve issues

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

PRC-licensed Civil and / or Structural Engineer

Minimum 5 years of experience in a structural design office; experience in high-rise projects preferred

Experience working with architecture and design-driven projects is an advantage

Proficient in AutoCAD, ETABS, STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, and Microsoft Office

Strong understanding of structural theory, analysis, and building systems

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Creative mindset with a passion for innovation in structural engineering

Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and leadership abilities

Willingness to work on-site in San Juan, Metro Manila
