First Aider

Duties and Responsibilities

Assess emergencies and provide first aid treatment according to protocols.

Reassure casualties and maintain a calm, professional approach.

Protect self and others from hazards and prevent infection.

Monitor casualty condition and coordinate with emergency services.

Document incidents and maintain complete first aid records.

Ensure first aid kits and medical supplies are stocked.

Support the Safety Officer in promoting health and safety awareness.

Minimum Requirements

Graduate of any vocational course.

Valid Standard First Aid Certificate with AED.

Knowledge of CPR and the 3 P’s (Preserve life, Prevent further injury, Promote recovery).

Good reporting, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Physically fit and emotionally stable under pressure.
