As 3D Modeler

10 years of practical experience in animation, modeling, and rigging for interactive media or video games (or equivalent portfolio).

Expert in Maya’s animation and rigging toolsets

Possess good understanding of FK / IK systems (switching and stretchiness), foot roll, pivot, and tilt setups, and their controllers

Solid grasp of animation principles (timing, staging, squash / stretch, etc.) applied in game development.

Skilled in following references to create accurate models with clean topology, efficient UV layout, and texturing.

Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills; proactive, organized, and able to give and receive constructive feedback.

Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to continually raise 3D quality.

Pluses

Familiarity with Unity’s 3D capabilities and game development pipelines

MEL scripting for custom animation workflows

Experience with ZBrush and other modeling tools (e.g., Blender, C4D)

Background in traditional animation (a plus, not required)

Passion for video games and game creation
