We’re looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer to build, optimise, and maintain high-performance websites and applications. The role involves leading website rebuilds, ensuring responsive design and cross-platform compatibility, managing CMS / eCommerce integrations (WordPress, Magento, Squarespace, HubSpot), and exploring AI-driven automation. Candidates should have 3–5 years of full-stack experience, strong skills in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML / CSS, and modern frameworks, plus excellent problem-solving and collaboration abilities.
Description
- Build, test, and maintain responsive, high-performance websites and applications across multiple platforms.
- Audit, optimise, and lead the rebuild of the Crew Care website, ensuring speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Debug, refine, and enhance both new and existing systems with clean, maintainable code.
- Ensure cross-browser, cross-device compatibility and responsive design standards.
- Design and implement API integrations to support workflows, CRMs, and marketing platforms.
- Manage integrations across WordPress, Magento, Squarespace, and HubSpot.
- Explore opportunities to apply AI-driven automation and workflow optimisation.
- Work closely with the Head of Digital (Fred) and collaborate daily with team members, including design, content, and advertising staff.
- Translate business requirements and creative briefs into practical, elegant technical solutions.
- Contribute to project planning, providing realistic timeframes and technical insights.
- Support resilience and documentation practices, ensuring projects and processes are well-documented for continuity.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in full-stack web development.Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.Strong experience with custom code frameworks (CodeIgniter, Laravel, etc.).Hands-on experience with CMS and eCommerce platforms such as WordPress, Magento, and Squarespace.Solid understanding of responsive design principles and website optimisation.Familiarity with HubSpot CRM and platform integration.Knowledge of version control (Git) and modern deployment practices.Proven track record of delivering projects from planning through to deployment.Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with non-technical stakeholders.Adaptable and proactive, with a willingness to learn and embrace new technologies.Resilient and committed to delivering secure, stable, and future-proof solutions.Experience with AI-driven development workflows or agentic AI desirable.Exposure to enterprise-scale systems and advanced workflow automation is advantageous.Background in digital security and resilience planning is a plus.Benefits
