Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI) is the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence arm of the Aboitiz Group. We are seeking talented Data Scientists who are passionate about building data products to extract valuable business insights. Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders / clients to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
  • Develop custom AI agent workflows based on market LLM capabilities
  • Use predictive modellings and / or AI agent workflows to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and / or AI agent workflows and monitor outcomes
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model and / or AI agent workflows performance and data accuracy

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of work experience as a Data Scientist
  • Graduate or Post Graduate degree in computer science, data science, operations research, statistics, applied mathematics, or related quantitative fields
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, constrained optimization, sentiment analysis, graph community detection, etc.) and experience with applications
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Scipy and / or Scikit-learn, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
  • Knowledge of advanced techniques for building AI agents workflows (e.g., LangGraph, Pydantic AI, or equivalent)
  • Strong experience with Python programming language
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
  • Experience with distributed data / computing tools : Hadoop, Kafka, Attunity, Dask, Spark, etc. is a plus
  • Experience developing and / or deploying in environments (AWS, GCP) and containerization techniques (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Elastic) is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
