Job Summary :
The Accounting Associate for Budget and Reporting is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the company’s budget performance across all cost areas—including selling, marketing, project, and operational expenses. This role ensures expenditures remain within approved budgets and provides management with accurate, timely, and insightful reports. The position also involves preparing operational, project, and inventory-related reports to support decision-making and cost control, contributing to overall organizational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
Monitor actual expenditures versus approved budgets for project and operational costs.
Prepare variance analysis reports and provide initial explanations for deviations.
Assist in distinguishing and tracking capital expenditures (CapEx) versus operating expenses (OpEx).
Gather cost data from project teams, update cost trackers, and support basic cost efficiency analysis.
Prepare reports on sales performance, marketing effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
Compile monthly real estate inventory reports detailing unit status (availability, awarding, construction progress, turnover).
Assist in budget preparation by collecting departmental inputs and encoding budget data.
