About this Position
As a Senior Prepress Designer, you will play a vital role in preparing print-ready files that ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and consistency. Your expertise in print specifications and brand guidelines is crucial for delivering exceptional visual materials that resonate with our customers and uphold our company's reputation. You will join a dynamic team of creative professionals who collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and printer suppliers. What you´ll do
- Prepare print-ready files by performing the established steps in accordance with printer specifications and brand guidelines; Using Esko plug-ins and Adobe software to perform pre-press
- Ensure copy-fit of supplied mastertext
- Perform color separation, color retouching and color proofing
- Conduct quality gatekeeping for print feasibility and consistency of art by checking design with printer specifications, historical data and print tendencies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and printer suppliers
- Act as point of contact for process-related topics (focus area - prepress)
What makes you a good fit
Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Print Technology or related courseMinimum of three (3) years' relevant work experience as a Prepress Artist; Preferably obtained from the printing industry, print management agency, or any relevant fieldBackground in conducting Quality Control and Quality Checks of prepress artwork is required; In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control of packaging artwork and prepressAdvanced technical skills in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop (for color retouching), Acrobat Pro; Esko Automation is highly preferredIntermediate to advanced project management skills; With high level of accuracy and attention to detailMust have effective English communication and excellent time management skillsAmenable to work on a temporary basis (3 months), mid-shift schedule (3 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 MN) and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, MakatiSome perks of joining Henkel
