Job Summary :

The Insurance Verification Specialist is responsible for ensuring that patients have valid and active insurance coverage for the services offered by the healthcare facility. This role involves direct interaction with both patients and insurance providers to verify benefits and explain coverage, helping ensure the patient receives optimal care without unexpected costs.

Key Responsibilities :

Insurance Verification :

• Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits for patients through insurance portals and by making calls to insurance companies.
• Confirm patient coverage, limitations, deductibles, co-pays, and waiting periods to ensure patients are informed prior to appointments.
• Input and update verified insurance details into the practice management system accurately.
• Ensure all insurance information is up-to-date before patient visits to avoid delays in billing and treatment.
